Trending Songs/Sounds
- Original audio by @girls: This is a perfect sound to share something you’ve heard about the real estate market and then the sound is “Don’t tell me you’re shocked. You’re shocked?! You’re shocked?!” My initial thought is to use this about how hot the market is or how interest rates are starting to rise. So, the first text bubble could be “when a buyer’s first offer doesn’t get accepted and they’re upset…” This sound is a perfect way to make a little joke about how the new year started out just as crazy as last year!
- example to check out: @ourshorefarmhouse uses this sound about her Starbucks addiction and it’s pretty cute!
- Original audio by @moderndaymama1: If you’re on social media, I’m sure you’ve seen the “go best friend” reels. Might as well hop on the bandwagon. Use this for anything you’re proud to see, text box ideas: “when your new clients call you to tell you they’re pre-approved and ready to start house hunting” or “when your sellers tell you they’ve finished their ‘pre-listing’ checklist and are ready to list!” or “when I see a new agent in our group make their first deal!”. These are all great ideas and can be used for personal or professional reels.
- example to check out: @betsybuttons is using the sound to talk school drop off etiquette. She has a little over 5k followers and her reel got 1.6M views! Might as well give it a shot!
- I’m Gonna Do Both by @that_newteacher: I would use this for anything that frustrates you or is a really hard part of the job, but it’s something that has to be done or dealt with. This could also go with sarcasm like: “when your client brings their dad to Text box examples: “when the appraiser uses comps that are at least 10 miles away” or “when your buyer says they’re bringing their dad to the inspection”. This is an easy one to jump on now because there are under 6k reels with this sound so you’re more likely to get seen if you use it!
- example to check out: @brock11johnson who is talking about only getting 4 likes on a reel. He’s a great follow if you’re trying to break into reels anyway!
Tip of the Week
Low engagement after the holidays? Get some engagement in stories by:
- showing luxury listings with multiple choice for them to guess the list price
- using a question box to ask what kind of content they’d like to see from you
- showing similar homes in different cities and ask which they think is more expensive, and/or
- adding polls a couple of days a week (it could be for anything, favorite tile, paint color, home design, etc) and see if that makes a difference.
Make sure your audience is engaged with your account by giving them an easy way to engage! Also, don’t forget to respond to all the comments on your static posts. The more IG sees interactions with people, the more your content will be shared!
