CR: Hey Chelsea, thanks so much for taking the time to chat with me today! Tell us a little bit about yourself.
CM: Hi friends! My name is Chelsea Manning and I was born in Lakeland, FL and raised in Woodstock, GA. I am a graduate of The University of Alabama (roll tide!) and received my Masters from New York University in Dance Education. I have 10+ years of experience teaching ballet to all ages in the Metro Atlanta area, and I bring that same creative energy and disciplined mind set to help guide buyers and sellers in their real estate endeavors. During my off time I enjoy spending time with friends and family, a good old fashioned pickleback shot, loving on my English Bulldog (no, he is not a UGA fan 😜), and traveling with my boyfriend.
CR: That’s so great! I love your background in dance because it definitely takes some discipline and lots of hard work. Love that you bring that experience to the table with real estate! p.s. I’m going to have to google “pickleback shots.” 😆 Alright, now I want to know what made you pick eXp as your brokerage.
CM: I chose eXp because I felt that they aligned with my values to grow as an agent educationally and relationally.
CR: I love that. Straight and to the point. The educational aspect and the way the brokerage works (where you can connect with and work with agents from all over) is such a huge draw. I’m with you on this one! Now, for something less “business”, what’s your favorite room in any house?
CM: I LOVE a bathroom. Give me a pretty tub and I’ll never leave!
CR: Nice! A good bath sounds delightful. It’s such a fun room to design and decorate too. You can mix it up a little in bathrooms/powder rooms! With that being said, how would you describe your personal design style?
CM: Contemporary Modern all the way. With some color, give me color ALL day long.
CR: Love this! No one has ever said this is their style so it’s fun to hear something a little different. Sounds amazing. Ok, finally, back to a little work-related question. What’s your favorite professional development book? Give our readers something to check out if they need some motivation!
CM: I just recently finished 12 Rules For Life by Jordan Peterson and I have thoroughly enjoyed his no effs given mentality on how to better yourself as a person. Highly recommend.
CR: Ok, that sounds really good, I may have to pick it up and get to reading! Thanks so much Chelsea, so excited that you’re a part of the Modern Agent and I look forward to seeing what the future holds for you and your business!
