For the week of 10.3-10.9
Here are a few of the top trending songs/sounds on Instagram at the moment. When you make reels this week, these are trending up so now’s the time to use the sound. Then, keep reading for a tip of the week you can implement right away on Instagram.
Trending Songs/Sounds
- Original Audio by @karacampphoto – This sound is a portion of “Trouble” by Taylor Swift and then a person screaming. People are using this sound to show them doing something normal, then realizing they’ve forgotten something or noticed something unexpected. You could be going to a home you’re showing and the lockbox code doesn’t work, get to a showing and not have toilet paper, anything that is a REALTOR nightmare.
- example to check out: @realtorkrisdove. She has a little over 1,000 followers and this reel got 2.9M views 🤯
- Original audio by @broke.people.flex – “Yo bro, who got you smiling like that?” This is an easy one, you can just type the text (no lip syncing required) and then show what makes you happy like closing photos with clients, homes with your sign out front, showing pretty homes, anything real estate related or if you want to make it personal you can show kids, dogs, family.
- example to check out: @wovenandwell, while they have 28k followers, this reel got 414k views!
- Original Audio by @ryderhoodyt – This one is fun and can be used to show anything. Start with a premise and show how you do something different from everyone else. You can pretend to knock on doors with flyers and then transition to showing you getting leads on Instagram or posting/making content to attract buyers.
- example to check out: @brittanyroper, this one is really funny and shows how she makes a mimosa 😂. She has fewer than 1,000 followers and this reel has 716k views!
Tip of the Week
Want to boost engagement + get seen more in people’s feeds? Post an engaging story about 10 minutes before you post on your grid. Use polls, multiple choice, slide the bar, ask a question, anything that gets people engaging with you. When someone engages with you shortly before you post, they’re more likely to see your post on the grid. Instagram likes to figure out what people want to see, so if someone is voting on a poll or answering a question of yours every day, chances are they’ll see a lot more of your content.
Give it a try this week and let me know how it works for you.
