Christina was one of the first to join my team and she’s such an asset to the group. She’s worked in the world of real estate for about 8 years (with a little break to see if she liked a 9-5…spoiler, she didn’t). She started as an agent is 2013, took that little break I mentioned above, and then in 2017 came back to real estate as an assistant to her grandmother who is an agent. Her role, during that time, was to lead contact coordination, run social media, implement database marketing, and cooking up ideas for events and marketing plans. She started out on her own in 2019 and joined a team in 2020 where her business really started to grow. Finally, she’s working for herself for the first time! I love that she has those years of experience running marketing and back office systems, she’s such a boss and we’re so excited to have her on our team! Keep reading to learn more about her!
CR: Hi, Christina! Let’s get started, tell everyone a little about yourself.
CKM: Hey! I’ve been married to my husband, Stephen, for six years and we have two fur babies (our dogs 🐶). We live in the north Georgia mountains and we love any outdoor adventures that take advantage of the gorgeous area we live in. I also love interior decorating and DIYs to redecorate my home all the time (we’re about to start on the dining room and I’m so excited!).
CR: Sounds exciting, I can’t wait to follow along on your Instagram. That mood board you shared is so good! So, next up, tell me a little bit about why you chose to join eXp.
CKM: Thank you! I was feeling stuck at my previous brokerage, there weren’t a lot of options to scale my business like I wanted to and grow in other areas, more than just selling homes. I was drawn to the business model of eXp because it allows me to grow a downline, a source of passive revenue, without having to grow an actual team if I don’t want to. I love the sponsorship opportunities, masterminds with top producers, and finally, learning first-hand from you and Stacey Wyatt! I just appreciate this business model because of the collaboration and the ability to plug in with agents who have different strengths than I do. Also, being around people who have the same business goals as you is so empowering!
CR: Love that and we’re so happy that you’re here! Ok for some fun stuff, tell me your favorite room in any home!
CKM: My favorite room would have to be the living room! From a homeowner’s perspective it’s the place my husband and dogs like to be together. We get together in there to watch movies, eat dinner (haha), and it’s where we like to gather with friends and family when they visit. It’s the heart of the home to me! From a design perspective, it’s so fun to decorate living rooms and make them a cozy statement of the home. You can tell a lot about someone based on their living room!
CR: That is so true! So, since you brought it up, tell me a little more about your personal design style!
CKM: Honestly, my design style is all over the place I feel like! To me, design really depends on the home, the location of the home and the personality of who is living there. So, I like a lot of different styles and I can’t pick an overall favorite! However, I personally design my spaces with a farmhouse, country, and western feel since that is what matches our personalities!
CR: Yes. I love the farmhouse look. Always a classic! Alright, last question. What is your favorite professional development book?
CKM: Well, honestly I’m not much of a reader but I LOVE a good podcast. My favorite right now is The Brian Buffini Show, there are elements of both personal and professional development and I really think they apply to everyone! I recently discovered him and every single episode is gold!
CR: Yes! He is amazing and truly, everyone can benefit. Thank you so much for your time and welcome to the team!
